We’re thrilled to share that Chef Works, Inc. is now the official licensee and distributor of Bragard in the United States. Bragard has long been known for its elegant designs in the hospitality industry, as timeless as they are creative. Our vision is to uphold the Bragard brand, while strengthening it with our cutting-edge supply chain and customer service.
What this acquisition means for you
This means Bragard customers will receive the same high-quality fabrics and designs they know and love, delivered with greater attention and expediency than ever before. Chef Works customers can now expand their kitchen uniform programs to include Bragard’s European-forward style. Both brands will continue to have separate customer-facing channels, such as our websites and social media accounts. However, our back-end technology and operations will be combined.
Innovation beyond our fabrics
The merging of our companies is made possible through our shared values, as well as Chef Works commitment to innovation. Last year, we implemented OPEX, a state-of-the-art warehouse automation system. OPEX is designed for more throughput and better output, allowing us to scale without ever missing a beat for our customers.
OPEX is just one part of our larger integrated system of fulfillment, built always with the customer in mind. Together with the Chef Works AXIS Apparel Program, our customizable online uniform management platform, OPEX will help elevate your business in 2023 and beyond.
Entering into a new era
We see this as a unique opportunity for both companies — as the industry’s leading heritage brands — to weave the way forward.
“As a family-owned business ourselves, we honor the Bragard family legacy. Chef Works’ addition of Bragard is a reminder that we are stronger together, side by side,” says Neil Gross, CEO of Chef Works.
