Question 1: Where did you get your start?

“I took a summer job in the kitchen at The North Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona.”

Question 2: What is your favorite dish?

“My favorite is Paella, a Spanish rice dish.”

 

Question 3: What was your favorite dish as a child?

“My favorite childhood dish was mashed potatoes and gravy.”

 

Question 4: Who inspired you to be a chef?

“Once I started down the path of becoming a chef, my father was always there to encourage me to follow through with my career.”

 

Question 5: What would you be doing if you weren’t a chef?

“I would have enjoyed being a cheesemonger or a butcher.”

 

Question 6: What advice can you give an aspiring chef?

“Take your time to learn the basics and fundamentals of cooking.”

 

Question 7: Is there anything you would have done differently in your career?
