Chef Works had the pleasure of getting to meet Alessandra and her family face-to-face at the 2013 New York Food and Wine Festival. This blossoming young chef has taken the world by storm and Chef Works had the privilege to make her on-stage chef coat while demonstrating with Guy Fieri (seen below). While getting to know Alessandra, we were able to give her one of our newly released denim aprons from our Urban Collection. She was kind enough to share some recent pictures of her in her stylish new digs and her feedback. She loves the apron and its one of her “faves”.

We all quickly became raving fans of Chef Alessandra and know that she is going to make huge waves in the world with her creativity and passion.

If you are interested in getting in touch with Alessandra, you can reach out to her mother, Angela Lombardi at lombardiange@hotmail.com.

About Alessandra Ciuffo

In the future, Alessandra hopes to combine her passion for culinary arts, acting, fashion and business.

Alessandra Ciuffo was born in New York City on December 31, 2000.  She is an honor student and will be advancing to a local prep school in 2014.

Alessandra has always loved the stage and the camera; in fact she was cast as “Annie” in a production when she was four years old. She has been taking dance classes from the age of three and now dances competitively.

Her love for cooking began when she was about three, helping her father, who is her inspiration, in the kitchen.  Alessandra spends most of her summers in Italy visiting her family and speaks Italian fluently.  She has also traveled to countries such as France, Spain, Switzerland, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and many US states including Hawaii. She believes traveling is a wonderful way to learn culture and history and is an amazing experience especially in the food and culinary world.  “Imagine, I have eaten fondue in Switzerland, made fresh pasta in Italy, cooked paella on the beach in Mexico, attended a Luau in Maui, and toured Le Cordon Blue cooking school in Paris”, she says, “How cool!”.

Her TV culinary journey began in 2012 when she was chosen from a You Tube audition tape to participate in a Web series called “Super Chef Kids”.  She was noticed by Jane Street Entertainment, which then cast her on Food Network’s Rachael vs. Guy: Kids Cook-off.  She has since done numerous food demos, fundraisers and radio interviews; she participated with Guy Fieri at the 2013 NYC Wine and Food Festival, and appeared on the Rachael Ray show.  Alessandra will be featured in a book being released this October 2014 entitled “Future Chefs” (Rodale Press).
