So much swiping. So much scrolling. So much insta-negativity and sad-face book. The Chef Works team is on a mission to weed out the sad and bring the happy.
That’s why we scan social media each week and pick three feel-good stories about the culinary and hospitality industries that give us the warm and fuzzies. Then we put them in a video to share.
This week we’re shining the spotlight on @chef_ljm – who recently won Food Network’s Vegas Chef Prizefight. But the champ will have to put his new gig in Las Vegas on hold. He’s currently helping his neighbors in Chicago.
Chef Works is doing a lot of really great things behind the scenes to support our friends and customers during this time. One of those initiatives is our 20K Apron Giveaway. The team at @ladreamcenter got their free aprons and were stoked. Thank you to L.A. Dream Center — and all of the frontline workers — who continue to serve their communities under difficult circumstances.
The @delmarfairgrounds is still closed. But their dedication to the community isn’t. Check out what Executive Chef Barry Schneider is doing.
If you have something incredible to share that helps keep everyone’s spirits up, be sure to tag us with #ChefWorks and #FindtheFork.
